REVERED AUDITING FIRM APPOINTED TO OVERSEE BUSINESS AWARDS

The  3rd annual South African Premier Business Awards (SAPBA) have been noted as the iconic business event in South Africa. In order to maintain this status, it is of utmost importance that the integrity of the adjudication process is ensured. As a result, the esteemed SizweNtsalubaGobodo has been appointed as the auditing firm for the SAPBA.

The firm’s role will be to oversee the judging process. This will be achieved by auditing submissions to ensure that all requirements for entry are met, auditing the judges’ score sheets to ensure that no mistakes have been made and ensuring that there are no conflicts of interest in terms of adjudication, and that no declarations of interests have been omitted.

The 2014/15 Awards are hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), in partnership with Proudly South African and Brand South Africa, are sponsored by Absa and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and will be held in Johanesburg on the 9th of April 2015. The Award categories include: Lifetime Achievement, Manufacturers, Exporters, Enterprise Development Support, Women-Owned Businesses, Young Entrepreneur, Investor of the Year, Proudly South African Enterprise, Play Your Part and SMME.
